5 Reasons Why Contractors Need To Have A Website

The following are ways that a website can be used for your business to increase profits, jobs, and leads.

Get into the Game

Everybody wants to be able to market their business successfully. However, if you don’t have a website, then you are not even out on the playing field to compete. That is due to the fact that all marketing techniques occur online these days.

Your website is the central hub for all of the online marketing efforts that you make.

Control The Story Of Your Brand

Have you ever searched online for your own business?

Even if you do not have a website yet, there is still a good chance that you have some sort of online presence. You might show up across social media, on the contractor license board’s website for your sate, or in a contractor directory.

There might be another contractor business that has a similar or same name as yours that is in a different region of the country.

Having a website allows you to control the story of your brand. You get to determine who you would like your business to be positioned, what prospective customers find out about you, and how your company appears online.

You Can Make Good First Impressions

Picture this:

A satisfied customer of yours recommends your business to a neighbor. Terrific!

Before the neighbor calls you, they search for your business online?

Why do they do this?

They may want more information on the type of work you do, see some before and after photos of past projects, or testimonials and reviews before committing to hiring you for their project.

However, if you don’t have a business website, then the neighbor will not be able to find answers to his questions. He might doubt your professionalism. Those doubts can counteract a lot of the good that a personal recommendation has given you.

On the other hand, having a professionally designed website will do the exact opposite. It can provide a great impression of your business on a 24/7 basis.

Get Found Online

Whether it is a California house contractor, Redding landscaper, or Arizona contractor, somebody is searching for your services near you.

These days, no one looks through the yellow pages in the phone book to find a remodeling contractor, electrician, or a painter.

If your contracting business does not have a website that has been optimized so that your company can be found online, then prospective customers will find your competitors instead of you.

Attract More Leads (and the Right Ones)

Have you ever made cold calls, gone to a Chamber of Commerce event, or attended a prospecting workshop to get more business?

You might even have invested in such things as print advertising, business cards, or had your phone number and business name wrapped around your truck trying to get your business name out in the community.

However, what if there was a better way of attracting more leads for your business without having to go to networking events, having fancy vehicle wraps, or making cold calls?

Your website can do that for you.

If you have a properly optimized website, it can help you be discovered by the exact type of prospective leads that are searching for the services that you offer at the time when they need to have the work done.

Also, if your website is set up properly it can work to attract more of the right type of leads for your business while you focus on the work that you do best for your customers.

Call to Action

We completely understand. You work very hard on building and growing your business. Having to take the time to put a website together may not fit into your busy schedule.

It can also be a hassle to find the right team that you can trust to get your website build properly.

Should you go with a slick, big agency that has slick big price tags (How much is it going to cost?_ Or should you hire the college kid who is trying to get his website business started and has promised you a great deal?

You can have a website designed to help ensure your business is found online, that makes a good first impression, and attracts additional leads to your contractor business affordably, easily, and quickly.

Get your website built today. Then you go back to working on building your business.
